Skinner Bros. Realty Company is a family-owned Jacksonville,
Florida-based real-estate firm formed in 1914
and re-established in 1999 by A. Chester Skinner, III.
Since its inception, Skinner Bros. has represented individual and corporate clients in the investment in, and development of, real estate throughout the State of Florida.
Over its history, the Company has acquired, planned, entitled, developed, and sold large, mixed-use Developments of Regional Impact (DRI). The Company specializes in the development of grocery-anchored shopping centers, multi-tenant retail buildings, offices, and self-storage facilities. In addition, the Company offers third-party brokerage and property management services for retail, office, and industrial clients.
In 2008, Chet Skinner joined the Company bringing expertise in retail site and residential acquisitions thus increasing the Company's ability to formulate strategies for multi-use projects.
Riley Skinner joined the company in 2013, bringing expertise in the financial sector of commercial real estate.
With a combined 80 years of real estate experience, Skinner Bros. Realty Company is poised to continue its representation of valued clients and their real estate needs.
A. Chester Skinner, III
A. Chester Skinner, III (Chip) brings over 45 years of real estate experience to Skinner Bros. Realty. As a principal for 17 years with Regency Centers, a publicly traded REIT, Chip Skinner was responsible for the development and leasing of corporate offices and industrial and retail projects. Since establishing Skinner Bros. Realty, Chip has developed and marketed large multi-use Developments of Regional Impact, as well as completed multiple build-to-suit leaseback transactions with financial institutions and retailers. Chip Skinner holds the National Realtors CCIM designation and is the past chair of the North Florida Chapter of NAIOP. He has also served on the Board of Consolidated Tomoka Land Company, a publicly traded real estate company from 2010-2017. His community service Includes service as Chairman of The Board of Trustees for The Bolles School, Chairman of the Board of Baptist South Hospital and Board Chair of the Salvation Army of N.E. Florida.
Breanna Elliott
Breanna Elliott joined Skinner Bros. Realty in May of 2017 after spending 2 years in healthcare administration. Breanna worked for the University of Iowa Hospital as an Administrative Services Specialist. She was responsible for generating financial reports and analysis for the Department of Internal Medicine as well as assist in a time allocation strategy for faculty members providing contracted services at the Iowa City VA. Breanna graduated from Wheaton College in 2013 with a B.A. in Business Administration & Economics and played on the women’s basketball team for four years. She received the “Most Respected Player” award in 2013. Upon graduation from Wheaton College, Breanna went on to receive her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of North Florida in 2015.
Chet Skinner
In May 2008, A. Chester Skinner, IV (Chet) joined the company after spending three years with Pulte Homes as the Director of Land Acquisition, Entitlements, and Strategic Marketing departments. Before working with Pulte, Chet was the head of Real Estate for a Whataburger franchise that opened 22 restaurants from Jacksonville to Tampa in less than two years. Chet served on the Executive Board of the Northeast Florida Builders Association from 2014 to 2017. In 2016, Chet served as the President of NEFBA, the fifth-largest homebuilders association in the country. He was also selected to Jacksonville's "40 Under 40" Class of 2016. He currently serves on the board of both The Bolles School in Jacksonville and Mission:Hope, an international ministry based out of Alpharetta, Ga. Chet attended Sewanee University, where he played basketball from 1998-2001, and graduated with a B.A. in Economics.
Makenzie Gonzalez
Makenzie joined Skinner Bros. Realty in March of 2023. Prior to working for Skinner, Makenzie had experience at a local Real Estate Brokerage and was on staff at her church for some time as the Kids Director. While at the brokerage Makenzie worked her way up to the Regional Manager position. Where she led the office staff, was overseeing multiple offices, and assisting over 300 agents. Makenzie attended the University of North Florida where she competed as a division one college athlete on the softball team for three years before transferring over to Northwest University to pursue and complete her Ministry Leadership Degree.

C. Riley Skinner
Riley Skinner joined the company in July of 2013, after spending three years as a Loan Originator with Capital Advisors, Inc. in Charlotte, North Carolina. While at Capital Advisors, Riley arranged permanent financing for commercial real estate properties through lending sources such as life insurance companies, conduit (CMBS) lenders, Fanny Mae / Freddie Mac and commercial banks. Since joining Skinner Bros. Realty Co., Riley has been responsible for the design, development, financing and acquisition of 400,000 square feet of commercial real estate projects, with a value of approximately $110,000,000. Riley is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Urban Land of Institute and has served on the Board of the Jax Sports Council. Riley graduated from Wake Forest University in 2009 with a B.S. in Business. While at Wake Forest, Riley was a four-year starting Quarterback for the Wake Forest football team and was inducted into the Wake Forest Sports Hall of Fame in 2021. During his career, he won an Atlantic Coast Conference Championship Title, played in the BCS Orange Bowl and set numerous school records as a Quarterback. In 2009, Riley won the Jim Tatum award which is given to the top senior student athlete in the ACC.
Pam Walker
Pam joined Skinner Bros. Realty in June of 2021. Before coming to Skinner Bros., Pam had the privilege of working for A. Chester Skinner, Jr., Chip’s father, for over 20 years. During that time, Pam served as Office Manager for A. C. Skinner Company and cultivated skills specific to property development and management. She also gained invaluable experience in dealing with people by witnessing firsthand how Mr. Skinner impacted people through his wisdom, humor, and generosity. Prior to working for the Skinner family, Pam enjoyed a successful career in the Customer Service and Information Technology departments at national banking and insurance companies.
Bois Farrar
Bois Farrar started with Skinner Bros. in August of 2018. Before joining Skinner Bros., Bois spent three years as a land development manager for Dream Finders Homes in Jacksonville handling residential development projects from permitting to lot delivery in Duval County, Clay County, and St. Johns County. Bois also oversaw the horizontal development and vertical construction of the Dream Finders Homes 45,000 SF Class-A corporate office building, which was completed in early 2018. Prior to this time at Dream Finders Homes, he spent four years at Florida Capital Bank and a year with CB Richard Ellis in Charlotte, NC. Bois graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in 2004 with a B.A. in English. He was a four-year letterman on the nationally ranked men’s lacrosse team at Hampden-Sydney and helped lead the team to a conference championship and three consecutive NCAA tournament berths. Locally, Bois is a past member of the Gator Bowl Committee and served on the Jacksonville FCA Board. He currently sits on the Board of Governors at San Jose Country Club and is a volunteer assistant coach for the Bolles Varsity Lacrosse team.
Dominica Cocuzza
Dominica joined Skinner Bros. Realty in the Summer of 2022. Prior to joining Skinner Bros., Dominica was a Senior Account Executive at All Service Insurance Agency, a commercial insurance agency located in South Florida. As an Account Executive, she oversaw the analysis of prospective clients and assisted them in any restructuring necessary to become an appetizing account to an insurance company. She also partnered with the Administrative Manager to restructure the Lead generation and tracking software that increased companywide call volume by 40%. Dominica graduated from the University of North Florida in 2019. During her time at UNF, she was on the UNF softball team as a 4-year starter. She was later awarded UNF’s 2019 Female Athlete of the year, UNF’s All-D1 First team, and the Atlantic Sun Conferences All-Decade First Team. She is currently applying her softball knowledge on the field as the Head Softball Coach at The Bolles School.
